What costs money, and what never will
Warnings keep people safe, so every National Weather Service alert is free, for everyone, always — never delayed, never held back behind a subscription. There is an optional membership, MDWA+, that adds things like custom alert radii, storm history and extra map layers. Nothing about your safety depends on it.
